We will have our first meeting of the semester on Thursday Sept 29th, from 3:00-4:30 pm in the HHIVE Lab (Greenlaw 524).  This month we will be reading  “Critical medical humanities: embracing entanglement, taking risks” by William Viney, Felicity Callard, Angela Woods, as well as Mel Chen’s, “Unpacking intoxication, racializing disability.” Both texts are available through the UNC Library and may also be found on the “Readings” page. Refreshments will (always) be provided.

For more information please contact the 2016-2017 Director, Rachel Warner at warnerr@live.unc.edu or Associate Director, Calvin Olsen at calvino@unc.edu.

Finally, not all meetings will be held on Thursdays, so don’t worry if you can’t make it–we’ll hammer out a calendar with the rest of this year’s dates/times in the first meeting.
