This month we will be examining transgender politics, visibility and embodiment through the work of two notable theorists: Susan Stryker and Richard M. Juang. Our readings will include Stryker’s article “My Words to Victor Frankenstein Above the Village of Chamounix: Performing Transgender Rage” and Juang’s essay “Transgendering the Politics of Recognition” in the Transgender Rights edited collection. Both articles are now available on the “Readings” tab.
