Our January 2025 LMCC meeting took place on Wednesday, January 29 at 5:30pm in UNC’s HHIVE Lab (Greenlaw 524) and via Zoom. 
We discussed and workshopped a paper-in-progress by LMCC member Camille Kroll. The paper is titled “‘I Can’t Take in Every Stray Puppy’: The Intersection of Gatekeeping and Dirty Work in U.S. Outpatient Pain Clinics,” and Camille is currently preparing to submit it for publication.

- Because our discussion for this particular meeting focused on a paper-in-progress, we have chosen not to post Camille’s paper publicly to the LMCC site. Instead, we emailed a copy of this paper-in-progress to our current LMCC members/people on our listserv.

This was our first meeting for the spring 2025 semester! All of our meetings for spring 2025 will take place at 5:30pm eastern time on the last Wednesday of each month in the HHIVE Lab (Greenlaw 524) with options for people to join via Zoom as well.
We’ll be posting information about our February meeting sometime soon!
