For our October meeting, we will be exploring intersectionality, assemblage theory, and theories of materiality more fully with Jasbir Puar’s “‘I would rather be a cyborg than a goddess’:Becoming-Intersectional in Assemblage Theory” as well as an optional reading: “Posthumanist Performativity: Toward an Understanding of How Matter Comes to Matter” by Karen Barad. Both readings are now available on our “Readings” page.
As usual, we will be meeting in the HHIVE Lab (Greenlaw 524) and will provide assorted snacks from Panera.
